Younger people would be a better investment because they have so much longer that they will be alive to benefit from the technology. We should end this life trade-off cycle, and focus our efforts on the young people that need medical help. A great deal of patients would prefer to have the ventilator, a life-extending technology, removed from healthcare. However, by doing this, it creates another controversy. Should the caregivers of the patient have a say if the ventilator should be turned off? This question is the biggest issue because if the patient is unresponsive, how is the caregiver going to make this decision. Also, if the caregiver is a loved one of the patient, this decision could be a conflict of interest. Some relatives might turn it off because they do not want to see their family member suffer. On the other hand, the majority will act out of selfishness and want to keep the patient alive on the device since they want them to still be here with them on this earth. Some relatives might act out of greediness which is another problem. They might want to â€Å"pull the plug† in order to collect belongings from the family member like life insurance or other collectables that are in the will. Ther e is no way of really knowing of why the caregiver is turning the ventilator off. Herein lies the supposed ethical difficulty. This reality requires that doctors and families make the difficult decision about when to pull the plug, because once a patient is on a ventilator, they have no control over their situation. Controversy of assisted suicide has been around since the beginning of high-technology and PMV’s. When the caregiver wants to turn the machine off, a lot of them turn to the doctors which can be seen similar to an act of assisted suicide. Doctor’s do not like this because it creates legal issues so, they try to remove themselves from this situation. The State of Oregon stopped using the term â€Å"physician-assisted suicide† in 2006. Similarly the American Medical Women’s Association rejects any terms associated with suicide as â€Å"inaccurate and inappropriate,† adopting instead â€Å"the less emotionally charged, value neutral, and accurate terms ‘aid in dying’ or ‘physician-assisted dying† (DeathwithDignity 2018). For some, these life-extending devices are not the only means of staying alive. The devices it helps to prevent strokes, breathing issues, and heart attacks. The moral issues in removing or turning off these prolonged-life devices, should not factor into a physician’s decision because there is no intent to kill, but to simply end their suffering. Death comes from the lack of strength for one to sustain life on his or her own. The ethical issues in these prolonging technologies is abundant. Doctors must inform patients, caregivers, and family members of all options as well as the hardships they may endure from these devises. This will allow patients and caregivers to make an educated decision, rather than live the rest of their lives suffering. Masks were worn by the actors to amplify their voices and to allow some actors to play two different roles, and women were not allowed to have roles in the theater. Roman playwrights such as Plautus and Terence borrowed comedic stories from the Greek theater, â€Å"Romanizing† them in the process. For instance, Terence wrote a play called Heauton Timorumenos or The Self-Tormentor. A Greek comedic playwright named Menander wrote a play with the same title. Since Menander’s version is lost, historians aren’t sure how original Terence’s version is. When he arrives at the Birling residence, he wastes no time in proposing to Sheila, who answers in the positive. He tries very hard to make a good impression on Sheilas' parents.  Mr Birling theres a fair chance that I might find my way into the next Honours List. Just a knighthood of course. Gerald Oh I say congratulations!  This shows how Gerald is trying to make sure that Mr Birling takes a liking to him. Gerald even goes to the extremes of siding with Mr Birling when he teases Eric, Mr Birlings son. This illustrates that Gerald desperately wants to win Sheilas hand in marriage. One gets the expression that his main reason for trying to this doing this is marry into the wealth and status of the Birling Family. During the inspectors cross-examination of Sheila the reader finds out how Gerald became involved with Eva Smith while she used the name Daisy Renton. This revelation of this alternate name shocks Gerald. The inspector goes onto to interrogate Gerald, and exposes that Gerald had an adulteress affair with the woman. Gerald does not deny this and admits all, even in front of his own fiancà ¯Ã‚ ¿Ã‚ ½e. I find this honourable. I dont feel it is right but I think that Gerald deserves some credit and sympathy. This is because he then goes on to say how he fell in love with Daisy. He shows genuine compassion-  Sorry- I well, Ive suddenly realised taken it in properly that she is dead. He explains how he took proper care of her at a time when she was penniless. He emphasises that he did not demand anything sexual from the relationship, but their relationship turning romantic was inevitable. I also this is very honest. Sheila recognises this   Thats probably about the best thing youve said tonight. At least its honest.  I do not feel that Gerald held any major responsibility for the death of Eva. He admits his mistake in having an affair, but also divulges how he was taken aback by her beauty. The pair parted on neutral terms and Gerald made sure that she would be safe after they split. I feel a lot of sympathy for Gerald. He loved Eva and must have found it hard to lose her, even after such a long period apart. After accepting a marriage proposal from Gerald, Sheila is extremely happy and in high spirits. However after her encounter with the inspector, her mood dramatically changes. She reacts in a way very unlike the rest of her family. The reader gets an idea of Sheilas attitude before she is told about Eva. After finding out about that women of her kind are known as cheap labour, she says-  But these girls arent cheap labour theyre people  This is a very different attitude to her parents. She shows frank concern for another person, a person she does not even know and who is of a lower social class. This would be unheard of in many upper class homes such as the Birlings. This is a different outlook and for many upper class people during that time, the incorrect way to think. This shows Sheilas innocence and admirable beliefs. She has learnt her lesson in the worst possible way.  Arthur Birling sees himself as an esteemed member of his community. He believes in rugged individualism, meaning that a person should strive to be the best, regardless of who he leaves behind. He does not have any real care for other human beings that are not involved in his life. a man has to make his way has to look after himself and his family too, of course, when he has one and so long as he does that he wont come to much harm  This quote shows how his blind attitude. I do not believe that he is completely at fault for his blatant ignorance is. Society in general during the early 1900s saw this as the only way of living. Growing up surrounded with this attitude would make a person believe it is entirely correct. This is why I do not blame Mr Birling fully for the way he acts. His initial behaviour started the chain reaction of events, which eventually lead to the death of Eva. He fired Eva from his factory after a dispute over pay. Fourthly, social media is used for online marketing campaigns that aim at attracting more online users to buy the product. Finally, direct marketing is also another marketing strategy that is incorporated inside IMC for a better result. Incorporation of these marketing aspects or advertisement strategies in an organized manner result into product advertisement with integrated marketing commu nication strategy (Clow Baack, 2002). The message that is sent should be designed in a manner that is transmissible for example the organization can design advertisement as the message. The basic IMC model of communication emphasizes the importance of understanding the audience before designing message. This is because a good communication strategy should have message spiced with a picture that is appealing to the audience enabling specific campaign strategy. Therefore, the message needs to be very communicative to users. The organization has on the designing of its adverts can be termed as attractive since its poster are catchy. The message also bears the nature of the sender since the sender communicates its thought to the audience (Kitchen Burgmann, 2015). Duncans model of IMC has highlighted the basis of designing customer-oriented campaigns. The organization to some extend uses personal for instance, selling includes direct selling to customers while non-personal selling consists of print media, online social media , and broadcast media. According to Arens Michael, (2012), the current channel that needs to be used in IMC is mainly social media and other online platforms such as websites. The target audience when using social media as channel depends on the media itself since through social media the organization can communicate to a single user or mass (Habibi et al, 2016). The analysis of the receiver reveals the market segmentation that is important for the marketing campaign. Woolworths Limited target individual, market or masses as its audience with its main target based on mass and this is evidence by its main focus on online campaigns. The receiver can be segmented into marketing zones mainly from an individual to mass at the highest level of communication. Knowing receiver determines whether the message is relevant or not since the message that is delivered to the receiver not intended is most likely to attract negative feedback. The ability of the receiver to understand and interpret the message send plays an important role in the communication process (Chandra Ulrich, 2014). Woolworth on the receiver, the organization understands the receiver though it has not linked the receiver to specific product. Feedback is the critical aspect of the communication process and can take many forms that include brand touch points. A brand touch point is impo rtant when the customer comes into contact with the organization product and is used to plan for advertisement or feedback from advertisement. The organization though has good advertisement campaign methods, the brand touch point are not established. Response or feedback process follows various processes such as AIDA (Attention, interest, desire, and action) or hierarchy of effect model. The beauty of IMC is that it gives different integrations of communication hierarchies that can assist the organization to analyze the response from a different perspective. The organization on the other hand has not shown response process that confers with any model. For instance, a model of cognitive response give the relationship between cognitive responses, an attitude developed and purchase intent (Moriarty Nancy, 2014). Conclusion In conclusion, integrated marketing communication is marketing communication that consists of the integration of various business communication aspects such as communication process and advertisement mix. Woolworths Limited is a renowned organization in Australia that rank second largest organization by wealth. The company has marketing strategy though not effective and therefore need some changes. The IMC has proved effective and therefore a recommended communication channel is mainly consisting of IMC. After a deeper analysis of the IMC used in the organization, it is worth giving recommendations for improvement, Recommendations Woolworths Limited should adopt IMC as the main strategy for advertisement or product campaigns. Though the organization has used some marketing strategies such as marketing mix, online advertisement, public relationship and direct marketing, one problem with the marketing strategy used in the organization is that all the advertisement campaign methods are not linked therefore tracking feedback from the marketing communication used (Koc, 2002). Therefore, the organization needs to link all the advertisement campaign methods to form integrated marketing communication model and establish brand touch points. Woolworths Limited needs to launch online campaign since most people within Australia are currently online users with more than 15 million Australians currently using social media. Furthermore, though the company has a well rated website there is still need for integration with social media applications as this is currently trending form of business communication. The organizations IMC system has not properly used the brand touch points since there are no clearly established touch points in its online advertisement campaigns. As noted by Belch et al (2014), IMC is one of the best advertisement practices that can be attributed to the success of some prominent business such as case of Coke Zero in the Coca Cola campaign (Laird, 2001). The organization needs to embark on advertising campaign its products and services through different channels as explained in the communication channel. Secondly, the organization needs to develop a fully integrated marketing communication system with all basic components of the communication. Currently, the contemporary needs of the consumers mostly are to reach them wherever they are. In addition, the contemporary consumer wants products or s ervice that reaches them at their own convenient time. He implies that a good communication mix should also cater for customers that use various mobile applications since contemporary consumer like using portable mobile devices to facilitate a good marketing campaign.
